Tennis
Permits available up to to 1 1/2 hours for singles, 2 hours for doubles - call the Rec. Office at 389-3446, or visit our office at 40 Beecher Rd., in the Beecher South School to pick up a permit. Permits available to Woodbridge Residents. There is no charge.

Levels:
Beginners-for the student with no tennis experience.
Advanced Beginners-for the student with some tennis experience.
Munchkin-for the brand new student in Kindergarten, First or Second grade.
Registration:
To be held Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-4pm at the Beecher SOUTH Recreation Office - or - MAIL check with name, address, phone number, day & tennis level & Adult, Youth or Munchkin to: Woodbridge Recreation Department, 11 Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge, CT 06525. Advanced registration is Mandatory! Limited enrollment, maximum 16 students per hour/8 students per court.

Marcy’s Tennis Academy® winner of the 2001 USTA NE Community Tennis Association of the Year & the 2002 USTA/PTR Community Service Award is offering tennis clinics for KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIXTH GRADE at the BEECHER SCHOOL SOUTH GYM. Tennis classes will introduce the fundamentals of the lifetime sport of tennis with an 8:1 teaching ratio.
Players will learn the forehand, backhand, volley, serve, & overhead smash. Each lesson will consist of stroke development, drills, fun-filled games. Players must bring a tennis racquet or may purchase tennis racquet through the academy for $30 each. Please bring one can of tennis balls on the first day of class. Parents must pickup their child(ren) at the end of class.
Saturday Fall Session
♦ Adult Beginner/Advanced: 6-week session on Saturdays 9/11, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9,
10/16, 10/23 from 9-10am on Court #1.
♦ Munchkin: 6-week session on Saturdays 9/11, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9,
10/16, 10/23 from 9-10am on Court #2.
♦ Youth Beginner/Advanced: 6-week session on Saturdays 9/11, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9,
10/16, 10/23 from 10am-11am on Courts #1 and #2.
♦ Price-$100-residents/$105-non-residents.
